LIVE! BACKING MUSIC

To bring the performance alive the backing music used is of the highest possible quality available anywhere in the world today. The tracks were recorded live using numerous musicians and backing singers some of whom were part of Elvis’s original band.
Recorded in the US and Hungary this is the first time that such a unique and authentic re-production of Elvis concert music has been produced for public use.

JEWELLERY

The ultimate finishing touch to perfecting the image of Elvis is his Jewellery and to ensure the look is complete Brian has spent time researching some of Elvis’s original designers to ensure accurate authenticity.

The main pieces used in the show are the TCB ring, the Aloha ring, TCB pendent and the Kulee Cancer Foundation pendant as wore in the Aloha show…Most of which were designed and hand made for Elvis by Lowell Hays, Lowell spent many years crafting Jewellery for Elvis Presley. Some pieces were designed by Lowell, while others were designed by both Elvis and Lowell.

COSTUMES

To keep the show as real as possible Brian uses authentic recreations of the original jumpsuits Elvis used during his 50’s, 60’s & 70’s shows, the suits were designed by Gene Doucette and Bill Belew (both formerly of I.C. Costumes) and manufactured by B & K Enterprises in the United States.

B & K have obtained the exclusive permission and documented consent of the very talented designers, Bill Belew and Gene Doucette who still retain their intellectual property rights to the artwork on the costumes.

More on Bill Belew

Bill Belew has the distinction of having designed Elvis Presley’s costumes and personal wardrobe from 1968 until his death in 1977. In his varied career, Belew has designed costumes for over 70 theatrical productions, musicals, operas, ballets, TV specials and series. In addition to his highly acclaimed work for the seminal Elvis Presley television specials in the late 1960s and 1970s which introduced a reinvigorated and dynamic Elvis to a whole new generation of fans.

More on Gene Doucette

In 1972, Gene started doing the designing on Elvis Presley’s costumes. Because Gene worked in the background, Bill Belew’s name became synonymous with Elvis Costumes. In the 1970’s, Bill Belew was (and still is) in big demand. He was busy doing television shows and movies, so he would give Gene the blank suits and Gene would design them himself. Gene designed most of the suits from 1972 until Elvis’ death. He designed the more elaborate suits such as the Aloha, Peacock, Sundial, Tiger, and American Eagle.

In 1988, Gene was brought together with Butch and Kim Polston of B & K Enterprises Costume Co., Inc. through Ciro Romano, Elvis’ tailor since 1968. At that time, a business relationship and close friendship was formed. Gene works on Elvis Presley remakes exclusively through B & K Enterprises Costume Co., Inc.
